Our owner, Tanner, holds an associate's degree in business administration and brings hands-on experience from working with leading companies in the excavation and site work industry.

What began as a small lawn mowing business has evolved into a company focused on excavation, site work, and septic services—supporting residential and small commercial projects with the equipment, knowledge, and precision required to do the job right.

At TMT Excavation & Outdoor Services, our mission is simple: to deliver dependable, high-quality groundwork that sets every project up for long-term success.

Tanner started mowing lawns at a young age — no crew, no equipment trailer, no business plan — just someone who showed up and did the work. That early start built the habits that still define TMT today: show up on time, do the job right, and treat every property like it matters. TMT became a DBA in 2012 and an LLC in 2018. By 2023, Tanner shifted the company's focus toward excavation, site work, and solving the kind of complex property challenges that most contractors walk away from.

Today, TMT specializes in septic installation, site preparation, land clearing, retaining walls, seawalls, underground utility installation, and outdoor living spaces. We also continue to offer bulk material sales and delivery — mulch, topsoil, and stone — along with commercial and residential lawn maintenance and snow removal.

TMT is a family operation in the truest sense. Tanner leads the work in the field. His mom manages the office. His dad runs the shop. His wife supports the business behind the scenes. That family foundation carries through to our entire team — a group that takes real pride in the work and genuinely cares about every project we take on.
